Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Abdulrazak Namdas as the Director-General of the Border Communities Development Agency (BCDA).

Governor Fintiri described the appointment as well deserved, saying it reflects Hon. Namdas’ capacity, wealth of public service experience, and commitment to national development.

In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikau, the governor described the appointment as a proud moment for Adamawa State.

“I thank His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for finding this worthy son of Adamawa fit and proper for this strategic national assignment.

“It is a proud moment for our state and a testament to the quality of human resources Adamawa continues to contribute to nation-building,” Governor Fintiri said.

Governor Fintiri expressed confidence that Namdas would deploy his legislative experience, diligence, and patriotic commitment in advancing the agency’s mandate, particularly in promoting peaceful border relations, community development, and security across Nigeria’s border communities.

“I have no doubt in the ability of Hon. Abdulrazak Namdas to deliver on this mandate. I urge him to continue to make Adamawa proud by serving with integrity, dedication, and excellence,” the governor added.

Governor Fintiri also congratulated Hon. Namdas on his appointment and prayed for God’s guidance, wisdom, and success as he assumes his new responsibilities.
