Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State has approved the appointment of Dr Mohammed Goje as the Acting Secretary to the State Government with immediate effect.
The appointment was announced in a statement issued on Wednesday by the Director-General, Press and Media Affairs to the Governor, Mamman Mohammed.
According to the statement, Goje was, until his appointment, the Executive Secretary of the Yobe State Emergency Management Agency.
The governor urged the new acting SSG to rededicate himself to the service of the state and the welfare of its people.
Buni also expressed confidence that the appointee would bring his experience to bear in the discharge of his new responsibilities.
