The Plateau State Governor, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Ghazali Isma’ila Adam on his introduction as the new Chief Imam of Jos Central Mosque, following the demised of Sheikh Imam Muhammad Lawan Adam.
In a congratulatory message signed by the Director of Press and Public Affairs, Gyang Bere said, Governor Mutfwang noted that Imam Adam’s appointment as the 10th substantive Chief Imam by the Josa Central Mosque Management Committee, Chaired by Alh. Garba Abdulkadir is a testament to his dedication, spiritual knowledge, and impactful leadership.
He highlighted Imam Adam’s legacy of justice, selflessness, and steadfast commitment to the spiritual growth of the people, particularly his efforts to instil moral values in the youth.
Governor Mutfwang expressed confidence that Imam Adam will utilize his vast spiritual knowledge to guide the people and promote peace and unity in the state.
He hoped that Imam Adam’s influence would foster a culture of peace, love, tolerance, and kindness, in order to contribute to a harmonious working atmosphere and thto and economic growth of the people.
On behalf of the government and the peace-loving people of Plateau State, Governor Mutfwang warmly congratulated Ghazali Isma’ila Adam on his well-deserved honour and prayed for God’s strength and good health for him to lead the congregation in prayer, guidance, and community service.
The Governor also prayed that Imam Adam’s tenure would consolidate and strengthen peace, harmony, and prosperity for the Muslim Ummah in Jos and beyond.
