Kano state governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has paid a condolence visit to the residence of Director General Media and Publicity, Kano Government House, over the death of his son Abubakar Sadik in Dawakin Tofa town.

This was contained in an official statement released by Usman Gwadabe, Director of Public Enlightenment, Kano Government House, which was available to The Triumph correspondent.

The governor, who was accompanied by his deputy, Comrade Aminu Abdulsalam Gwarzo, Chief of Staff, Alhaji Shehu Wada Sagagi, Commissioner of Information and Internal Affairs, as well as other government functionaries and NNPP party leaders, sympathised with Bature and his family over the death.

At the residence, the state chairman of NNPP, Alhaji Dr. Hashim Dungurawa prayed to God Almighty to grant the deceased Aljannatul Firdausi and to his parents the fortitude to bear the loss.

The governor also met with the mother of the deceased as well as other family members.

Late Sadiq, 15 years old, died in an Indian hospital as a result of post-surgical complications.
