A non-governmental organisation under the platform of Rain Healthcare Initiative and Good Leadership charged stakeholders in Healthcare service delivery to remain committed to Improving the health status and well-being of the citizenry.
This came to the fore at the inaugural meeting of the organization, according to a statement issued by Nafiu Muhammad Lema, Communications and New Media Engagements.
Executive Director of the organization Usman Hamza said the RAIN Healthcare Initiative and Good Leadership is an independent non-governmental organization established under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to Support Girls’ Child Education initiatives and provide access to healthcare services for girls and women.
It also aims at developing policies and programs to improve the lives of orphans and persons with disabilities, including access to healthcare services and to collaborate with government and other agencies in ensuring rapid development for the masses, including healthcare infrastructure development.
It will also engage in organizing seminars and workshops to promote self-reliance, healthy lifestyles, and disease prevention among communities among other objectives.
The inaugural meeting brought together the management team to discuss critical decisions and essential information, charting the course for the organization’s future.
It was attended by the Executive Director and CEO Usman Hamza, Muhammad Nasir Sokoto Secretary and Muhammad Bello Abdulkadir Coordinator, Sensitization and Mobilization.
Others are Hali Abubakar Musa Project Coordinator, Healthcare, Garba Muhd Esq. Legal Advisor and Nafi’u Muhammad Lema Coordinator, Communications and New Media Engagements among others.
