The Sokoto East Youth Mobilization Forum (SENFO), led by Usama B Lawal Rabah, has organized a special prayer session to seek divine intervention in addressing the security challenges and hardship faced by the people of Sokoto East and the entire Sokoto State.
The Danmalikin Achida was among many personalities that attended the prayer session, held in Achida town of Wurno Local Government Area, was attended by people from various locations and was led by Islamic scholars, Imams, and students.
The event is part of the forum’s efforts to address the problems facing the region.
The forum has vowed to take concrete actions to address the challenges facing the region, without relying on others.
People from the areas worse hit by terrorist attacks, particularly from the 8 local government areas of the East Senatorial District of the state attended the prayers.
The local government area consists of Sabon-biryani, Rabah, Isa, Illela, Wurno, Gwadabawa, Goronyo and Gada respectively.
The special prayer session which was organized to address the security challenges facing the region was held at the Central Mosque in Achida, Wurno Local Government Area on Saturday.
The association which is a non-political organization that brings together youth from the eastern part of Sokoto State prayed for the peace and security of the region.
