Hon. Haruna Yahaya Kadana, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate for the House of Representatives representing Karaye/Rogo Federal Constituency in Kano State has pledged to prioritise people-centred representation, accountability and community development if elected into the National Assembly.
Kadana made the commitment at an appreciation dinner held on Saturday where he expressed gratitude to party leaders, elders, community stakeholders, supporters and well-wishers for their prayers, encouragement and contributions towards his political aspiration.
He said his ambition was not merely to occupy a political office but to ensure that the voices and concerns of the people of Karaye and Rogo receive adequate attention.
The ADC candidate identified quality Educations, accessible Healthcare, Youth and women’s empowerment, agricultural development, improved infrastructure and support for small businesses as key areas he would promote if entrusted with the mandate.
He stressed that effective representation requires commitment to lawmaking, responsible oversight and constructive engagement with relevant authorities to attract policies and projects capable of improving the living conditions of constituents.
Kadana also called for unity, peaceful political engagement and mutual respect among supporters of different political parties, warning against violence, intimidation, insults and misinformation.
He maintained that political differences should not undermine the bonds that unite communities, families and residents, urging his supporters to communicate their political ideas with dignity and respect for opposing candidates.
He further emphasised that the development of Karaye and Rogo requires collective responsibility, calling on traditional rulers, religious Leaders, Youths, Women, professionals and community stakeholders to work together for the common good.

Archbishop Jones said his contribution was intended not only as financial assistance but also as an encouragement to others to support the candidate through prayers, resources and active participation.
He also urged party members and supporters to work towards electoral success at all levels, including national, state, local government and councillorship positions, while offering prayers for the candidate and those present at the gathering.
