The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in Kaduna State has inaugurated a new executive committee following a court judgment directing the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to transfer the party’s administration to its Board of Trustees (BOT).

The new leadership emerged during the state congress held at Aso Motel on January 16, 2025. Abubakar Abdullahi, the newly elected state chairman, expressed confidence in the party’s future and pledged to uphold its manifesto while positioning the NNPP for success in the 2027 general elections.

Hon. Yunusa Bala, the national organizing secretary, charged the new executives with securing all 205 wards and 23 local government seats in the state ahead of the 2027 elections.

The congress marks a significant milestone in the NNPP’s efforts to consolidate its presence in Kaduna State, as the party aims to strengthen its grassroots structures and expand its influence in the region.
