The Special Adviser to the Kano State Governor on Justice and Constitutional Matters, Barr. Aminu Hussain, has urged newly recruited state counsel to make an immediate impact and uphold the highest standards of professionalism.

This was disclosed by Aminu Bello Sani, the Public Relations Officer at the Ministry of Justice, Kano State.

He gave the charge at the closing ceremony of a three-day induction training for 70 new state counsel, held at the Kano Institute of Anti-Corruption, Goron Dutse. Congratulating them on their appointment and active participation, he emphasized that their recruitment reflects the administration’s commitment to strengthening the justice system as the pillar of law and order.

Barr. Hussain highlighted Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s belief in the justice system’s crucial role in economic growth, poverty reduction, peace, conflict resolution, and governance.

He stated that the governor envisions making Kano’s justice system the envy of Nigeria, and the new council has been equipped with the necessary skills to contribute effectively.

Welcoming them into the civil service, he reminded them of the high expectations placed on them. He also commended the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr. Haruna Isa Dederi, and his team for their efforts in ensuring the success of the induction.

Barr. Hussain’s remarks reaffirm the Kano State Government’s dedication to excellence in justice administration, stressing that no excuses or failures will be tolerated.
