The Kano State Government has reiterated its commitment to safeguarding lives and property, emphasizing the importance of peace, security, and stability for all residents.

This was disclosed in a statement issued to The Triumph by Yusuf Abubakar Ibrahim Anipr, Director of Public Enlightenment, Kano State Neighborhood Watch Security Agency.

The assurance was given by the Commander General of the Kano State Neighborhood Watch Security Agency, Lt. Col. Aminu Yusuf Abdulmalik (RTD), during the first management meeting with newly posted staff of the Agency, held at its office.

Abdulmalik stressed that the Agency’s statutory mandate remains a top priority and pledged to uphold it diligently to achieve its objectives.

He noted that effective security requires collaboration and affirmed that the Neighborhood Watch will continue to work closely with conventional security agencies, community leaders, and other partners to enhance operations across the state.

He further called on residents to support the Agency, stressing that security is a collective responsibility that demands active citizen participation.

In his remarks, the Director of Administration and General Services, Sulaiman Baba Umar, commended the Commander General for his leadership and assured the management and staff of their full cooperation in achieving the Agency’s goals.

The Kano State Government reiterated its resolve to promote a safe, peaceful, and secure environment to support socio-economic development and the welfare of its citizens.
