Gombe State governor, Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has led the state delegates of All Progressives Congress (APC) to the national convention of the party held recently at the Eagle Square, Abuja, where the state stood out with a commanding presence.

Governor Yahaya, who is the leader of the party in state and a key figure in its national structure as Renewed Hope Ambassador and National Secretary for party’s Outreach and Engagement, was in company of his deputy, Mr. Manassah Daniel Jatau, alongside an array of influential political actors from the state.

They include the Chief Whip of the House of Representatives, serving and former federal lawmakers, the Minister of Transportation and former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, the Speaker and members of the state House of Assembly, APC State Executive Committee members, members of the state  Executive  Council, eminent party stalwarts and other prominent stakeholders and big wigs.

The national convention has in attendance, the full spectrum of the party’s leadership, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, the leadership of the National Assembly, APC governors and members of the National Working Committee (NWC) and other stakeholders.

The state contingent was one of the most visible and organized at the convention and its  strong outing was not unconnected with Governor Yahaya’s consolidating leadership and commitment to party cohesion as well as his constant promotion of the Renewed Hopes Agenda of President Tinubu.
