The National Chairman Association of Shurafa’u Emirs of Nigeria Shareef Muhammadu Nur Habib Abdulmajid Agege, has urged Muslims Umma in the country to persistently use the opportunity of the new Islamic Year (1446) in prayers for the restoration of peace in the Country.

The National Chairman of the association made the statement in an interview with the Triumph newspaper correspondent in his palace in Gusau the Zamfara state capital.
The Chairman extends his heartfelt congratulations to the Muslim Umma in Nigeria as they celebrate the Islamic New Year 1446H.

The statement said, the Chairman expresses his hope for a year filled with blessings for the Muslims in Zamfara state and Nigeria and encourages them to remain devoted to their prayers for peace to be restored.

The statement reads in parts: “The Islamic New Year is a time for self-reflection on the events of the past year, and is an opportunity for all Muslims to be steadfast in their prayers, especially for the return of peace.

“Today, 1st Muharram marks the end of year 1445H and the beginning of a new year 1446H in the Islamic Calendar. It is a time for Muslims in Zamfara and across the country to come together in prayer and reflection.

Shareef Muhammadu Agege urges all Muslims to play their collective role in the betterment of the state and Nigeria, emphasizing the importance of unity and cooperation in achieving peace and progress.

He wishes all Muslims a year filled with happiness, progress, and abundant blessings, praying for Allah’s blessings and protection for Zamfara and Nigeria. Let us all join hands in prayer and action to make this new year a year of peace and prosperity for all.
