The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Electoral Committee has unveiled the official timetable for the 2026 NFF Executive Committee elections, with the sale of nomination forms scheduled to begin on Saturday, August 1.
According to the timetable released by the committee, the submission of completed nomination forms will close on Wednesday, August 12, marking the first major stage of the electoral process ahead of the elections fixed for September 27 in Lafia, Nasarawa State.
The committee said candidates will be notified of any irregularities in their nomination documents between August 13 and 19, while the period for correcting such deficiencies will run from August 20 to 27.
Screening of candidates is scheduled to take place between August 27 and 30.
A provisional list of cleared candidates will be published on August 31, while appeals from disqualified candidates will be received from September 1 to 3.
The Electoral Committee is expected to determine all appeals between September 4 and 10.
The final list of cleared candidates will be released on September 11 and 12, followed by the publication of the official delegates’ list on September 13.
Campaign activities by cleared candidates will run from September 14 to 24, ahead of the NFF Executive Committee elections scheduled for September 27 in Lafia, Nasarawa State.
