Mrs. Badru urged the management, staff, and community of the area to explore ways to support and sustain healthcare services in the hospital.

She highlighted that the PSI project, which partners with 153 countries and healthcare organizations such as the Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria (MHWUN), has selected Tarauni as a beneficiary in Nigeria.

The workshop, attended by 30 healthcare staff and community members, featured interactive sessions aimed at addressing the progress and challenges of healthcare services in the facility.

Dr. Ayegba Ojonugwu, Head of the Education Department at the MHWUN National Headquarters, noted that the PSI project is dedicated to ensuring access to quality healthcare services for citizens.

Similarly, Comrade Babangida Musa Gwarzo, Chairman of MHWUN Kano State Council, emphasized that the project aims to partner with healthcare organizations to improve healthcare delivery in the community over the next three years.

He expressed gratitude to the project’s partners for their concern and dedication.

“The PSI project is ready to support the facility with drugs, medical equipment, and the creation of a conducive atmosphere for healthcare delivery,” Gwarzo stated.

The District Head of Tarauni, Sarkin Fadar Kano, Alhaji Ado Kurawa, represented by Wakili Alhaji Jamilu Wada, praised the initiative and assured maximum support and cooperation for its success.
