Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa state has plans to create more Chiefdoms in the state as many communities are long overdue.

The governor said that the bill for such effect will be sent to the Adamawa State House of Assembly soonest.

Fintiri disclosed this at the Banquet Hall Government House, Yola, during the delegation of the Heba Community from the Hong local government area, which was led by General Haldu Hananiya (Rtd), who paid him a courtesy visit.

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri says, “want to assure you that Government will study your request of its desirability or otherwise of it, and if we find out there is need for us to create Heba Chiefdom we will not hesitate to send a bill to the State House of Assembly for that.

“We will ensure that it goes through the legal framework and pass it Into law and gives you what belongs to you after all the state belongs to all of us, and the state today, nobody should carry last and we should not have a starter where we have Third class or Second class, all of us should work to be First class”.

He thanked the community for their support of the administration and reassured Adamawa residents of his administration’s commitment to positive change, security, and progress.

“The state government, through the Fintiri Business Wallet initiative, will support 60,000 women and youths in the State; he explained that the programme is aimed at injecting three billion nairas into the state’s economy, enabling residents to build resilient businesses and fostering economic growth,” he said.
