A delegation of Qadiriya Juma’at Masjid Imams has paid a courtesy visit to the Kano State Ministry for Religious Affairs, reaffirming its support for the administration of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.

The delegation was led by the Acting Chairman of the group, Imam Abubakar Dan Umma, who explained that the visit was aimed at meeting with the Honourable Commissioner for Religious Affairs, Ahmad Tijjani Auwalu, and appreciating the efforts of the Kano State Government in transforming the state.

Imam Abubakar Dan Umma commended the administration of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for its developmental initiatives and pledged the continued support of the Qadiriya Juma’at Masjid Imams.

He also expressed gratitude for the government’s commitment to promoting and supporting Islamic affairs in the state.

In his response, the Honourable Commissioner for Religious Affairs, Ahmad Tijjani Auwalu, thanked the delegation for the visit and their goodwill towards the government.

He emphasized that the Kano State Government remains receptive to constructive advice and suggestions from religious leaders, groups, and other stakeholders for the overall development of the state.

The Commissioner further called on the Imams to continue offering prayers for the success of the government, as well as for peace, unity, and harmonious coexistence in Kano State and across Nigeria.
