The Katsina State Commissioner for Environment, Hon. Hamza Sule Faskari, celebrated Eid-el-Fitr in his hometown of Faskari, where he received well-wishers who paid him Sallah homage.
A prominent politician, businessman, and philanthropist, Hamza Sule—who holds the traditional titles of Wamban Faskari and Sadaukin Kasar Hausa—welcomed various groups of politicians, youths, the less privileged, community development associations, family, and friends to his residence.
In keeping with his tradition, he provided lunch, Sallah gifts, and cash donations as part of the ‘Barka da Sallah’ celebrations to entertain and support his guests
Hon. Hamza Sule distributed a total of N11.6 million across various groups and communities. Each ward in Faskari Local Government Area received N500,000, while three wards with larger delegations got an additional N200,000 each, amounting to N5.6 million.
Five APC support groups received N500,000 each, totaling N2.5 million, while delegations from Sabuwa and Dandume Local Government Areas were given N3 million and N500,000, respectively.
Additionally, he provided N500,000 to a group from Dogon Awo for medical aid and N200,000 to a woman for her child’s treatment.
During the celebration, Hon. Hamza Sule led prayers for the continued success of Governor Malam Dikko Umar Radda’s administration and the All Progressives Congress (APC) governments at all levels.
He also urged the people of Katsina State to pray for lasting peace and sustainable development.
