Hon. Mai Fata made the declaration while receiving the APC State Chairman during his ongoing tour of the 44 Local Government Areas of Kano State.
He described the visit as timely and significant, saying it demonstrated the party leadership’s commitment to grassroots engagement, unity, and inclusive leadership.
The Council Chairman expressed profound appreciation to Hon. Doguwa for personally visiting Bichi to thank party leaders and members for their steadfast support and sacrifices during the APC primary elections, which produced candidates for the State House of Assembly, Governorship, and Presidential elections.
“The people of Bichi remain proud of their contributions to the APC’s strength in Kano State and will continue to stand firmly behind the party leadership in promoting unity, discipline, and progress,” he said.
He noted that the visit had further boosted the morale of party members and reaffirmed their confidence in the leadership of the Kano State APC, adding that regular consultations with the grassroots would continue to strengthen the party’s internal democracy and cohesion.
Hon. Mai Fata also commended the leadership style of Hon. Umar Haruna Doguwa, describing him as a grassroots politician who understands the importance of maintaining close contact with party members across the state.
He said such engagements would further consolidate the APC’s position as the leading political party in Kano State.
The Council Chairman assured the APC State Chairman that Bichi Local Government, together with its eleven ward councillors, party executives, women and youth groups, and other stakeholders, would remain united and committed to advancing the ideals of the APC while working tirelessly toward future electoral victories.
Earlier, Hon. Umar Haruna Doguwa said his statewide consultation tour was designed to appreciate loyal party members, strengthen the APC’s grassroots structures, and receive firsthand feedback from stakeholders as part of efforts to reposition the party for greater success in the years ahead.
The visit was attended by party executives, elders, elected officials, women and youth leaders, the eleven ward councillors of Bichi Local Government, and hundreds of APC supporters, all of whom reaffirmed their loyalty to the party and pledged their continued support for its leadership.
