Yobe State Governor, Hon. Mai Mala Buni has condoled with Dr. Muhammad Adamu Machina, Coordinator National Open University Damaturu Campus, over the tragic loss of his wife Hajiya Ladidi Haruna Godowoli, and two daughters.
In a press statement signed and released by Mamman Mohammad the DG press and media affairs to governor Buni said, Hajiya Ladidi, a former registrar, Federal Polytechnic Damaturu, and her two daughters lost their lives in a tragic motor traffic accident around Keffi in Nassarawa state while travelling from Damaturu to Abuja.
Gov. Buni described the deaths as a huge loss to the family and Yobe state, “but that is the will of Allah (SWT), our creator.”
“It is sad losing this great wife, mother and counsellor, and her two promising daughters in their prime ages.
“However, this is their appointed time, and we should take solace in the saying “ina lillahi wa inna illahi Rajiun”. We are all from our Creator and unto Him we shall all return” Gov.Buni consoled the family.
He prayed to Allah to forgive their short comings, and grant them Aljannatu firdausi.
The governor also prayed to God to grant Dr. Machina and his family, relations and friends, the fortitude to bear this tragic loss of their loved ones.
Gov. Buni prayed for the quick recovery of those injured.
