The Forum of Former Managing Directors of Kano State Agencies and Parastatals (2015–2023) joins party leaders, stakeholders and well-meaning Nigerians in extending its warmest congratulations to His Excellency, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, CON, on his appointment to the APC Presidential Campaign Council for the Tinubu/Shettima 2027 presidential campaign, with the strategic national responsibility of mobilising senior citizens and other critical stakeholders.
The appointment is a testament to Dr Ganduje’s years of dedicated public service, statesmanship and political leadership.
In contemporary Nigerian politics, few leaders can match his extensive experience across different levels of governance and party leadership.
From serving as Commissioner for Works, Housing and Transport, to serving twice as Deputy Governor of Kano State, Governor of Kano State and National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr Ganduje has remained an influential figure in Nigerian politics and democratic development.
Having served directly under his leadership as chief executives of various state agencies, parastatals and corporations between 2015 and 2023, we witnessed firsthand his commitment to institutional development, operational efficiency and grassroots transformation in Kano State.
The responsibility of mobilising senior citizens, elder statesmen and key national stakeholders for the success of the APC and the Tinubu/Shettima ticket in 2027 requires political maturity, credibility, institutional experience and strong consensus-building skills.
Given Dr Ganduje’s extensive national network and experience in building political bridges, we are confident that he will deliver effectively on this important national assignment.
As he assumes this new responsibility in the service of our party and nation, we assure His Excellency of our unwavering solidarity, loyalty and support.
We pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) continues to grant him sound health, wisdom and divine guidance as he works towards a successful electoral outcome for the Tinubu/Shettima ticket in 2027.
