The Deputy Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Murtala Sule Garo, on Monday paid a condolence visit to the Kano State Chairman of Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’a Wa Ikamatis Sunnah, Prof. Abdullahi Saleh Pakistan, following the death of his wife, Hajiya Zainab Abdullahi Pakistan.

Garo visited the bereaved family at their residence in Tudun Murtala Quarters, Nasarawa Local Government Area, where he conveyed the condolences of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, the Kano State Government and the people of the state.

This was contained in a statement issued on Monday by the Public Relations Officer in the Deputy Governor’s Office, Lurwanu Idris Malikawa Garu.

Hajiya Zainab died at the age of 40 and is survived by her husband and two children.

Speaking during the visit, Garo prayed for the repose of the deceased’s soul and urged the family to take solace in the will of Allah.

“We pray Almighty Allah to forgive her shortcomings, grant her Aljannatul Firdaus and give the entire family the strength and patience to bear this irreparable loss,” he said.

The deputy governor described death as an inevitable part of life and encouraged the family to remain steadfast in faith during the period of mourning.

In a related development, Garo also paid a sympathy visit to a former Chairman of Rimin Gado Local Government Area, Alhaji Garba Shaaibu, who is currently receiving medical treatment.

The deputy governor visited the former council chairman at his residence in Tudun Yola Quarters, Gwale Local Government Area, where he wished him a speedy recovery.

“We are here to identify with you during this difficult period. We pray Almighty Allah to grant you quick recovery, restore your health and bless you with many more years in good health,” Garo said.

He assured the former council chairman of the prayers and support of the Kano State Government throughout his recuperation.
