The Chairman of Kumbotso Local Government Area of Kano State, Hon. Ali Musa, has expressed pride in identifying with the administration of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, describing him as a progressive and development-oriented leader.

Hon. Ali Musa made the statement at the Kumbotso Local Government Secretariat on Monday during the swearing-in ceremony of secretaries and supervisory councillors, alongside 35 political office holders appointed by the council.

Speaking with journalists shortly after the event, the chairman commended Governor Yusuf’s leadership style and developmental achievements across the state.

According to him, no administration in Kano State’s political and military history has transformed the state within less than three years like the current administration under Governor Yusuf.

He described Governor Yusuf as an education-friendly governor whose policies have continued to attract recognition from international organisations and non-governmental organisations (NGOs).

“Foreigners and NGOs are always coming to Kano to honour and recognise Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf because of his commitment to education and development,” he said.

Hon. Ali Musa further stated that the governor had renovated and refurbished many Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), including the 44 local government secretariats across the state.

He added that the people of Kano State were enjoying purposeful leadership under Governor Yusuf, whom he described as “the right leader at the right time.”

The chairman also expressed confidence that the ruling party would emerge victorious in the 2027 general elections.

“We are optimistic that by the grace of Allah, we will win the 2027 elections convincingly,” he stated.
