The Chairman of the Naibawa Community, Hon. Ado Salisu Riruwai, has commended the Chairman of Kumbotso Local Government, Hon. Ali Musa Hardworker Danmaliki, for what he described as remarkable achievements within his first 100 days in office.

Speaking during the reception held in honour of the newly appointed Secretary of Kumbotso Local Government, Alhaji Kabiru “Director,” Hon. Riruwai said the appointment reflects the chairman’s commitment to strengthening grassroots governance and accelerating development across the local government.

He noted that Hon. Ali Musa Hardworker Danmaliki has accomplished significant projects within a short period, saying many residents believe his administration has recorded achievements that surpass those of previous administrations.

According to him, the people of Naibawa Ward are proud of the progress recorded so far and remain optimistic that more developmental projects will be executed under the current administration.

Also speaking at the event, the Vice Chairman of Kumbotso Local Government, Hon. Saleh Basarake, a native of Naibawa Ward, reaffirmed the council’s commitment to delivering meaningful development to all communities in the area.

Traditional rulers from Wailari, Mai Kalwa and other communities accompanied the newly appointed council secretary to the event, where they presented some of the community’s most pressing needs.

The Village Head of Wailari appealed to the local government to urgently rehabilitate the community cemetery, alleging that criminal elements have been using the area for unlawful activities, including suspected ritual practices.

He also appealed for the construction and rehabilitation of roads within the community, describing poor road infrastructure as a major challenge affecting residents.

Community leaders further outlined about ten priority projects requiring government intervention, including improvements in infrastructure, security and other social amenities.

In his response, the Chairman of Kumbotso Local Government, Hon. Ali Musa Hardworker Danmaliki, assured the people that his administration would carefully study all their requests and work towards addressing them.

He pledged not to leave any stone unturned in ensuring that the developmental aspirations of Naibawa and other communities in the local government are met.

“Our loyalty is to our people, and our priority is the development and welfare of our communities,” the chairman said.
