The Sokoto State Police Command has announced that the Police Service Commission (PSC) has released the names of successful applicants for the recruitment of 50,000 Police Constables into the Nigeria Police Force.
According to a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ahmad Rufai, ANIPR, the recruitment exercise was conducted in collaboration with key stakeholders, including the Nigeria Police Force, the Federal Character Commission, the Ministry of Police Affairs, State Careers and Counselling Departments, and the Police Community Relations Committee, to ensure a transparent, inclusive, equitable, and merit-based process.
The statement advised candidates who participated in the recently concluded written examination to visit the official recruitment portal, npfapplication.psc.gov.ng, to check their application status.
The portal will be accessible from 12:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2026.
Successful applicants will also receive notifications via email and SMS using the contact details provided during registration.
Candidates offered provisional admission are expected to report to their designated Police Training Institutions on dates and times that will be communicated later for medical screening and documentation.
The Command warned that candidates who fail to report within the stipulated period will be deemed to have declined the offer, while those who fail the mandatory medical examination conducted by the Police Medical Team will be disqualified from the training programme.
Successful candidates are required to report with their training call-up slip, National Identification Number (NIN) slip, Bank Verification Number (BVN) slip, original and photocopies of their academic certificates, as well as other documents and items specified on the recruitment portal.
