A member of the National Assembly representing Kaita/Jibia Federal Constituency in Katsina State, Sada Soli Jibia, has disbursed cash assistance to 500 women.

The cash assistance, worth over N5 million, was distributed through the Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), Gwagware Foundation.

Sirajo Ado, who represented Sada Soli at the event, stated that the assistance was part of the lawmaker’s contributions to the society.

Sirajo Ado, who is also the APC candidate for Jibia in the upcoming February local government elections, praised the Gwagware Foundation for its efforts in providing support to orphans, women, and vulnerable individuals over the past eight years. He noted that the Foundation had recently assisted over 1,500 out-of-school children with uniforms and learning materials.

He further emphasized that the Gwagware Foundation’s efforts have made a significant impact on improving the lives of women, children, and vulnerable individuals in the community.

In his remarks, the Chairman of Gwagware Foundation, Yusuf Aliyu Musawa, commended Sada Soli for his generous contribution. “The Foundation appreciates the contribution of Sada Soli Jibia in enhancing its activities,” Musawa said, adding that the Foundation would continue to offer support to the less privileged.

Women leader of the Gwagware Foundation, Bilkisu Abdullahi Bakori, encouraged the beneficiaries to make good use of the cash assistance and thanked the Foundation for its ongoing support to women and vulnerable individuals across the state.

The beneficiaries of the cash assistance came from Kaita, Jibia, Batagarawa, Rimi, and Katsina Local Government Areas.
