Priests, Friends, Family and well wishes were all gathered at St.Theresa’s Catholic Church, Jos to join the Parish Priest,, Very Rev.Fr.Paul Pam, as he celebrated his 65th birthday.
Fr. Paul Pam, who is one of the senior priests of the Catholic Archdiocese of Jo,s, is still looking Strong in the service of God and humanity.
Speaking with our correspondent shortly after the Mass, which was celebrated in his Parish where he is serving, said he appreciates God the most for his faithfulness towards him, saying that nothing gives him Joy more than the service of God and humanity.
He said even though he is a sinner, God has been very, very kind and fatherly to him, I have never asked for anything and lack; my payer is that even when I lived in this world, how long, how soon may God give me the Grace to died a Holy death.
“Because God has been so good to me and I believe he will do that to me,” he stated.
While encouraging people to always eat or take traditional dishes (food) because this is what God has given us, urging that you don’t start taking it when it is too late, start it when you can and watch what you eat and what you drink.When you sleep and you wake up.
He urged the Youth not to indulge in occasions that will make them sad and to begin to behave normally; hehe charged them to hold onto Gd and that they should not admire at all cost to be like someone.
“It is good to be mentored, but what God has not given you, man cannot give you and be happy who you are. he urged.
Fr. Paul Pam further thanked God for giving him good health for this year, saying God bless me, love, care and understanding, and he gave me the kind of nature he has given my mother. My mother is 94 years old, and she is still strong and can work around.
He also appreciated his Parishioners who have been part of this journey, because everywhere I go, people have been very, very receptive to me.
Even though I have been here now for less than five months, Parishioners were able to cooperate with me and organized to raise about 12 million naira for solar systems, which was very, very successful, and the people are still ready to support my work here. he stated.
