The Abdullahi bn Abbas Sallari Charitable Foundation under Mallam Yahaya Mohd Sani has launched a series of educational books aimed at promoting knowledge and social development among citizens.
Speaking during the book launch, the founder of the institute, Mallam Yahaya Mohd Sani, said the initiative is designed to benefit both males and females, with special emphasis on educating women and girls.
He explained that women play a critical role in the development of society, stressing that educating a woman is equivalent to educating an entire community.
According to him, women should be given priority in education because of their central role in shaping families and society.
Mallam Yahaya noted that educating citizens helps reduce social problems such as crime, drug abuse, phone snatching, banditry, and kidnapping.
He said the aim of the foundation is to combat ignorance and promote a safer and more enlightened society.
He also highlighted the importance of women’s health education, including awareness on menstrual health and related issues, urging women to take advantage of educational opportunities provided by the institute.
He advised mothers and women to obtain copies of the books and read them regularly in order to benefit from the knowledge contained in them.
In his remarks, the Chairman of the Local Government Area at the event, Dr. Nafi’u Salisu, commended Mallam Yahaya Mohd Sani for his commitment to societal development through education.
He described the initiative as a valuable contribution to human development and praised the institute for promoting positive education among citizens.
Dr. Nafi’u also acknowledged government efforts in prioritizing education, particularly for women and girls, and prayed for the safe return of all guests to their various destinations.
