The newly deployed Commissioner of Police, Umar Hassan Kabir, Adamawa State Command, has paid a courtesy visit to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri at the Government House in Yola.
The CP’s entourage included members of his management team, as he pledged to intensify the fight against crime.
During the visit, the state police boss lauded Governor Fintiri for his unwavering support to the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies in the state.
According to Kabir, the command is committed to strengthening the security architecture, enhancing public safety, and fostering effective community policing across Adamawa State.
Responding, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri congratulated the new Commissioner of Police on his appointment and deployment to the state.
He assured the CP of his support and collaboration to ensure the protection of lives and property, reiterating the importance of synergy among security stakeholders in the state.
