Yakasai Zumunta Development Association under the leadership of its chairman, Alhaji Sadisu Abubakar Yakasai, has extended appreciation to Kano State governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf for Hajiya Bilkisu Shehu Mai Mota as the Acting Head of Civil Service in the state.
The association described the appointment as apt and deserving in view Hajiya Mai Mota’s track record of achievements in the various places she served the state.
It said, Hajiya Mai Mota, being a distinguished member of the association, remained a proud mother and a sister in Yakasai community, the state and the nation at large.
The association said it “wishes to extend its sincere appreciation and gratitude to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kano State, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, for the appointment of one of our distinguished members, a mother and a sister in our community, Hajiya Bilkisu Shehu Mai Mota, as the Acting Head of Civil Service, Kano State.”
In a statement made available to The Triumph recently by the Public Relations Officer of the association, Malam Sadiq Labaran Tanko, who doubles as Dan Iyan Kubumbawa, it deeply appreciated the gesture, which it described as a well-deserved recognition.
It said: “Her appointment is a testament to her vast experience, dedication and unwavering commitment to public service and a perfect choice.
“We are confident that she will justify the trust reposed in her and contribute immensely to the continued progress of the state.
“Once again, we express our profound gratitude to His Excellency for this commendable decision.”
