Hon. Abubakar Sada Bichi has officially declared his intention to contest for a seat in the Kano State House of Assembly under the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), pledging to deliver purposeful leadership and tangible development for the people of Bichi.
The declaration ceremony, held in an atmosphere of excitement and unity, drew a large crowd of party faithful, community leaders, youth groups, women supporters, and political stakeholders from across the local government area.
Addressing supporters at the event, Hon. Abubakar Sada Bichi emphasised the urgent need for visionary leadership, effective representation, and policies that directly improve the welfare of citizens.
He also paid glowing tribute to Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, describing him as a remarkable national figure whose contributions to democratic growth, good governance, and human development have earned widespread respect.
According to him, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso remains a symbol of courage, consistency, and people-oriented leadership, whose political experience and progressive ideals continue to inspire a new generation of leaders.
Speaking on his ambition, Hon. Abubakar Sada Bichi assured residents of Bichi that if elected, he would champion legislation and programmes aimed at accelerating development across critical sectors.
He listed education, healthcare, youth empowerment, women inclusion, agriculture, entrepreneurship, infrastructure, and social welfare as key priorities of his agenda.
He further promised to remain accessible to the people, engage regularly with constituents, and ensure their concerns and aspirations are strongly represented in the state legislature.
In their separate remarks, senior leaders in Bichi, such as Alhaji Ali Sulaiman and Alhaji Shehu Amuma, urged Nigerians to support Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso for the presidency, describing him as a tested and trusted leader with the capacity to reposition the nation and address pressing socio-economic challenges.
They also spoke on the political future of Kano State, stressing the importance of electing leaders with integrity, competence, and genuine commitment to public service.
Other party chieftains who spoke at the gathering praised Hon. Abubakar Sada Bichi as a dynamic and visionary grassroots politician with the energy, dedication, and ideas needed to deliver quality representation and sustainable progress for the people.
The event concluded peacefully, with renewed optimism among supporters, as many described the declaration as a significant step toward strengthening the presence of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Bichi and across Kano State.
