Residents of Gobirawa community in Dala Local Government Area of Kano State have appealed to the member representing Dala Federal Constituency, Hon. Aliyu Sani Madakin Gini, to assist in completing the road project linking Kurna Farin Bene to Babban Layi.
The residents explained that the road project was initiated by the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau I. Jibrin, but has yet to be completed, a situation they say continues to cause hardship for the people, especially during the rainy season.
Some community members noted that the road is of great importance to transportation and commercial activities, as it connects several neighborhoods and facilitates the movement of people and goods within Gobirawa and surrounding communities.
They stated that their appeal to Hon. Aliyu Sani Madakin Gini was motivated by the numerous developmental projects he has executed across the constituency, particularly the road construction project in Kurna Yan Ganda, which they described as a significant intervention that has brought relief and development to residents.
The community expressed optimism that the lawmaker would consider their request and take the necessary steps to ensure the completion of the road project, thereby improving the living conditions of residents and promoting socio-economic development in the area.
