The Emir of Rano, Ambassador Dr. Muhammad Isa Umar, has congratulated Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, on the occasion of Nigeria’s 66th Independence Anniversary.
The Emir urged the governor to sustain his administration’s development projects and policies aimed at improving the living conditions of residents across the state.
He also called for greater investment in education, healthcare, security and agriculture, while urging the government to pay special attention to pilgrims from Kano participating in the annual Hajj.
In a statement signed by the Press Secretary of the Rano Emirate Council, Alhaji Nasiru Habu Faragai, the Emir, who also serves as the 2026 Kano State Amirul Hajj, stressed the need for unity, patriotism and peaceful coexistence among Nigerians to promote national development.
Ambassador Muhammad Isa Umar urged citizens to continue supporting efforts aimed at strengthening national unity and improving the welfare of the people.
