Operations Commissioner,, National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Prince Anofiu Olarenwaju Elegushi has advised representatives of 36 states and Federal Capital Territory to ensure they sensitise their pilgrims adequately on the Hajj rituals particularly trip from Muzdalifa to Mina so as to enjoy hitch free exercise.
He gave the advice when he led the representatives on inspection visit to Arafat, Mina and Muzdalifa yesterday, noting that the purpose of the visit was to inform them on how to manage pilgrims during the period.
Prince Elegushi who emphasised on stoning devil (Jamrat) process, appealed to stakeholders to inform their pilgrims that transportation would be provided to convey them to the place easily.

He added that an arrangement was put in place to convey pilgrims on buses immediately after jamrat to Makkah for tawaf.
The commissioner warned Nigerian pilgrims to safeguard their health under the intense heat, revealing that climbing Arafat Mountain Jabalur-Rahma is not compulsory in Islamic Jurisprudence.
He called on the media, ulama and the officials to intensify enlightenment campaign with a view to encourage pilgrims to abide by the arrangement.
Earlier, the Makkah Coordinator who is also the Head of Tradudiya, Dr Aliyu Tanko, explained that the essence of the Tradudiya route is to avert the gridlock and ease movement of Pilgrims from Muna, Arafat and Muzdalifa by the Saudi Arabia Ministry of Hajj.
