Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State has extended profound condolences to the families and Government of Bauchi State over the death of the Emir of Ningi, Alhaji Muhammad Danayaya, who passed away last Thursday.
This was contained in a statement by the Governor’s spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa on Monday.
According to the statement, the Governor described late Alhaji Muhammad Danyayaas, as a traditional leader who was committed to the development of his Emirate, Bauchi state, his North-Ea region and the country at large.
Governor Abba acknowledged the contributions of the late monarch in the National Constitutional Conference and in the restoration of peace in the northeast gio-political zone which has been bevelled by insecurity for quite a long time.
“On behalf of the government and good people of Kano State, the governor prayed to Almighty Allah to grant his gentle and innocent soul the exalted paradise and give his family the courage and the fortitude to bear the loss,” the Governor prayed.
