The chairman of Sabon Garin Safana Foundation, Alhaji Hamza Abdullahi, has provided assorted grains to be shared among vulnerable people in Dutsimma Local Government Area of Katsina State.
The hundreds of the bags of maize were distributed to residents of Sabon Garin Safana to assist the beneficiaries to celebrate Sallah festivities with relative ease.
The chairman of the foundation, Alhaji Abdullahi, who launched the distribution of the food items, said the gesture was meant to complement the efforts of Governor Dikko Umar Radda towards improving the well-being of people, especially the less-priviledged ones.
Alhaji Abdullahi, represented by the Vice Chairman of the foundation, Alhaji Zaharaddeen Abdullahi, said the hundreds of bags of the food items were provided and distributed to people for Sallah meals.
The chairman noted that the gesture was part of the activities of the foundation geared towards improving the living conditions of vulnerable people to feel a sense of belonging.
Alhaji Abdullahi urged people to use the Sallah festive period in praying for Allah’s guidance to Governor Radda to enable him bring the desired development to the state.
The Senior Legislative Aide to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Alhaji Abdu Bawa Dutsimma, who doubled as the Public Relations Officer of the foundation, highlighted the relevance of such initiative towards supporting the current administration in the state to identify with the need and aspirations of people.
Alhaji Dutsimma, expressed appreciation to the chairman of the foundation, Alhaji Abdullahi, for the support and commitment to better the lots of vulnerable people.
The Senior Legislative Aide, said the gesture was in line with Governor Radda’s administration policies of improving the well-being of people, particularly the underprivileged.
Similarly, another member of the foundation, who is also the Special Assistant to the Dutsimma Local Council chairman on Adult Education, noted with appreciation the number of programmes being initiated by the chairman of the foundation to assist vulnerable people.
He called on the beneficiaries not to sell the food items given to them and pray to Allah to reward the chairman of the foundation abundantly.
A cross-section of people, who benefited with the food items, expressed gratitude to the chairman of the foundation, Alhaji Abdullahi for various humanitarian services.
They prayed for him for Allah’s guidance for his political ambition as well as for peaceful coexistence in the state and the nation as a whole.
