In what can be said for the first time for a high profile officer to resign his appointment, the chairman of Cross River State Electoral Commission (CROSIEC) Mike Ushie has resigned from his appointment as chairman of the commission.
In a letter written to the state Governor Bassey Otu copied to the state government secretary Mike said “I resigned as chairman of Cross River State Electoral Commission CROSIEC.
The letter our correspondent reported continues to read in part “I thank the state government to serve I resigned to enable me to continue with my educational pursuit,” Ushie wrote.
As of the time of filing the report, the version reply of the resignation of Mike Ushoe has yet to be replied to him.
