The Director General of the National Productivity Centre (NPC), Hon. Dr. Baffa Babba Dan’Agundi, NIM, has approved the appointment of Dr. Kabiru Usman Na’ibawa as his Technical Adviser.
In a letter personally signed by the Director General, the appointment was described as a recognition of Na’ibawa’s expertise and capacity to contribute to the Centre’s vision of promoting productivity, efficiency, and excellence across Nigeria’s economic sectors.
Before his appointment, Na’ibawa served as a Data Analyst at the Department of Computer Science and Information and Communication Technology, Federal University, Gusau.
An accomplished academic and ICT professional, Na’ibawa holds a Nigeria Certificate in Education from Kano State College of Education, a Diploma in Information Technology from the Hands-On Institute of Information Technology, Kano, a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Computer Science from Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology, Wudil, and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Jodhpur National University, Rajasthan, India.
He is currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
The NPC said Na’ibawa’s appointment would strengthen its technical and research capacity, particularly in data-driven policy development, ICT integration, and innovative productivity enhancement strategies.
Dan’Agundi congratulated Na’ibawa on his new role and urged him to bring his professional experience, creativity, and commitment to bear in advancing the Centre’s objectives.
