To protect consumer rights across all sectors, the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) has engaged the banking sector in a dialogue to promote a fairer financial landscape.
In a statement issued on Sunday in Abuja, the Commission said it held a Roundtable Compliance Engagement with the banking sector on Saturday in Lagos as part of its sector-specific initiatives.
Key focus areas included empowering stakeholders with compliance knowledge, strengthening self-regulation, and addressing sector-specific challenges to enhance consumer protection.
The Commission reaffirmed its commitment to building a stronger, more compliant market for Nigerians and other residents.
