In recognition of the vital role nano and small businesses play in driving grassroots economic growth, we are disbursing ₦1.5 billion to support 15,000 small business owners and entrepreneurs.
This initiative aims to foster financial inclusion and stimulate local economies. Each beneficiary will receive ₦100,000 to help grow their business and sustain their livelihoods, bringing the total support for the beneficiaries to over ₦2.93 billion.”
The Governor further stated that the Multi-Purpose Cash Assistance (MPCA) program aligns with global best practices and addresses the diverse needs of our citizens. “We have deliberately adopted direct funds transfer to empower beneficiaries to prioritize their most urgent needs, promote dignity, accountability, and economic recovery.”
According to him, the government will continue to provide free education, accessible and affordable healthcare, technological advancements, and economic incentives to empower less privileged individuals and promote economic growth.
Governor Buni also assured that the government would meet all the requirements needed for the launch of the proposed Early Childcare Development Education Centre in the state.
He emphasized that these programs represent the core of governance, aimed at serving the people and improving their lives.
