Kano State Deputy Governor, Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, on Sunday, paid a condolence visit to Jigawa State Governor, Mallam Umar Namadi, following the tragic loss of his mother, Hajiya Maryam Namadi Umar, and eldest son, Abdulwahab Umar Namadi.
The Triumph earlier reports that, Hajiya Maryam Namadi Umar passed away on December 25th, 2024, after a prolonged illness at a hospital in Kano.
Tragically, his eldest son, Abdulwahab Umar Namadi, lost his life the following day in a devastating car accident.
The visit underscored the spirit of solidarity during times of grief, regardless of political affiliations.
During the visit to Governor Namadi’s hometown in Kafin Hausa Local Government Area of Jigawa State, Comrade Aminu Gwarzo expressed his deep sorrow, acknowledging that the losses were undoubtedly painful but an inevitable test of faith.
He recognized the deceased as exemplary individuals whose contributions to their community and family would be long remembered.
He offered his prayers for Allah’s mercy upon their souls and for strength and fortitude for the bereaved family to endure this irreparable loss.
In response, Jigawa State Governor, Umar Namadi, expressed his gratitude for the deputy governor’s condolence visit and prayed for Allah to abundantly reward him.
