Weeks after Kano State Deputy Governor, Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, visited Kura Local Government Area (LGA), a flurry of development projects began in the area.
During his visit, the Deputy Governor reportedly found the interim LGA Chairman absent, with his staff seemingly taking charge.
In a similar vein, the media team working under the deputy governor’s office conducted an unscheduled visit to the LGA and learnt that a series of developmental projects have engulfed the tract.
Our correspondent who was in the team revealed that following the deputy governor’s visit, efforts have been directed towards improving essential infrastructure within the LGA.
“I’m glad to announce that since the inception of this regime, six water facilities have been reconstructed, aiming to address water scarcity issues faced by residents.
“Additionally, renovations have been initiated in primary schools and hospitals, suggesting a focus on enhancing education and healthcare services,” the interim LGA chair stated.
However, the swift commencement of these developments suggests a response to the Deputy Governor’s observations during his visit.
This initiative aligns with the Kano State government’s commitment to improving living standards across the state. This surge in activity signifies a long-term change in leadership in Kano State.
A cross-section of the LGA residents interviewed have enthusiastically expressed their satisfaction with progressively ongoing projects in the local government, hoping for continued development efforts.
