Kano State Deputy Governor Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo has cast his vote in the ongoing local government elections.
Voting at Kofar Fada ward in Gwarzo Local Government Area, Gwarzo expressed satisfaction with the voter turnout and the peaceful conduct of the election process.
He attributed the peaceful atmosphere to the combined efforts of various security agencies, including the Kano Road Traffic Agency (KAROTA), vigilante groups, and Hisbah personnel.
“The impressive voter turnout is a clear indication of the people’s confidence in the leadership of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.
“The people have shown their satisfaction with the government’s commitment to improving their lives,” he added.
Gwarzo expressed confidence in the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) to emerge victorious in all the contested seats.
He also commended the electorate for their peaceful conduct during the election, despite attempts by some to disrupt the process.
