The Governor of Kebbi State, Nasir Idris, alongside the Governor of Jigawa State, Umar A. Namadi, the APC Deputy National Chairman (North), Ali Bukar Dalori, and Benjamin Nwoye, attended the wedding Fatiha of the sons and daughters of the APC National Organizing Secretary, Suleiman Muhammad Argungu, in Argungu, Kebbi State.
According to a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Kebbi State Governor, Ahmed Idris, the wedding Fatiha was held at the palace of the Emir of Argungu, Sama’ila Muhammadu Mera, and was solemnized in accordance with Islamic rites.
Leading the prayers, Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa joined the six couples in matrimony and urged them to uphold Islamic teachings and preserve the sanctity of marriage.
He described marriage as a Sunnah ordained by Allah and advised the newlyweds to embrace patience, tolerance, understanding, and mutual respect as the foundation of a successful marital life.
In his remarks, Governor Nasir Idris, who stood in as the father of the bridegrooms, congratulated the couples and urged them to remain committed, patient, and supportive of one another throughout their married life.
He prayed for Allah’s guidance and blessings upon their union, saying, “May Allah (SWT) bless all the couples with peaceful, successful, and enduring marriages.”
The six couples are: Sadiq Suleiman Jarima and Fatima Khalid Saidu
Usman Suleiman Argungu Jarima and Khadija Ismail
Abubakar ABK and Mandiyya Abubakar
Mohammed Zahradin and Fatima Hassan
Zakariyya Sani and Maryam Lawal Ajiya
Sanusi Alhassan and Aisha Dauda
