The Kano State Government has extended its heartfelt condolences to the management and staff of Rahma Radio following the demise of veteran journalist Abubakar Dahiru Yakasai.
In a condolence message issued by the Kano State Ministry of Information and Internal Affairs, the government expressed deep sorrow over the loss of Yakasai, describing him as a dedicated and passionate journalist whose contributions left a lasting impact on the profession and the state.
“His demise is a great loss not only to your esteemed station but also to the journalism profession and Kano State as a whole. His commitment, professionalism, and contributions to the media landscape will be deeply missed,” the statement read.
The government also extended its sympathies to the family of the deceased, praying for strength and comfort for his loved ones during this difficult time. “May Almighty Allah grant him Jannatul Firdaus and give his loved ones the strength to bear this irreplaceable loss,” the message concluded.
Abubakar Dahiru Yakasai was widely respected for his dedication to the field of journalism, and his passing is seen as a significant loss to the media industry in Kano and beyond.
