The Provost of Aminu Kano College of Islamic and Legal Studies (AKCIL), Professor Balarabe Abubakar Jikada, has announced a landmark achievement: the 100% accreditation of all programs by the National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE).
Speaking at a press briefing over the weekend, he described the accomplishment as a testament to the college’s unwavering commitment to excellence.
Professor Jikada reiterated AKCIL’s dedication to producing well-trained teachers to serve at various levels of basic education.
He also revealed that the college recently received provisional approval from the NCCE to introduce 21 new courses, bringing the total number of programs offered to 50.
“The management of AKCIL extends its heartfelt appreciation to the state government for its generous financial support, which has been instrumental in our achievements.
“We are also deeply grateful to the Deputy Governor and the Higher Education Commissioner for their unwavering support and guidance. Their trust in our institution has enabled us to make significant strides in providing quality education,” he added.
