The Kano State Government has decided to postpone its significant event concerning the declaration of a state of emergency in the education sector, due to the ongoing nationwide strike led by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC).
This was containing in a statement by Director General and publicity Malam Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa made availabale to newsmen on Monday.
The postponement was considered essential in light of the industrial action disrupting major activities nationwide.
The state extends its apologies for any inconvenience caused to the invited guests due to the cancellation.
The statemwnt maintain that the details regarding the rescheduling of the event will be communicated in the near future.
