From Maawuya Bala Idris, Katsina
The national leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) and former governor of Kano State, Sen. Rabiu Musa-Kwankwaso, has predicted that the party will win the 2027 presidential election.
He spoke in Katsina State while commissioning the state party secretariat.
According to him, the party is fully ready and prepared to take over the presidency, states and also other positions across the country during the 2027 general elections.
Kwankwaso said that the current hardship Nigerians are facing is a clear indication that the NNPP is heading towards success in the general elections.
“I wish to remind you that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is already dead because we were in the party since they have gone out of the line; we decided to check,” he said.
He further said, “While the All Progressive Congress (APC) has pushed itself into failure because I don’t think a reasonable person can vote for the party anymore.”
He therefore called on Nigerians, especially women and youths not to allow themselves to be deceived with spaghetti or money during the next elections.
The NNPP national leader also called on the party leaders in the state to redouble their commitment towards the success of the party in the state and the country as a whole.
He commended them and other stakeholders in the state for renovating the state secretariat of the party, saying that it is part of preparations towards success.
Also speaking, the NNPP state Chairman, Alhaji Armaya’u Abdulkadir, said the party is doing everything possible to enlighten the electorate on the party’s new logo.
According to him, the new logo symbolises education for all, which is the most concerned area of the Kwankwasiya vision.
He, therefore, said there is a need for the party to embark on grassroots sensitisation aimed at informing party members on the importance of the new logo.
Meanwhile, Kwankwaso has paid a condolence visit to the family of Yar’adua over the death of Hajia Dada, mother of late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua.
Kwankwaso, along with NNPP party officials from Kano and Katsina States, was received by family members of the deceased.
He condole with the family and prayed to Allah to grant the deceased internal rest.
