…Igbo Kingdom to award the Senator

The All Progressives Congress (APC), leader in Sokoto state and one of Nigeria’s icons, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko Sarkin Yamman Sokoto has called on Nigerians to respect one another for a future and better nation.
Senator Wamakko was speaking on Wednesday when he received members of the resident’s communities on Sallah homage at his Gawon Nama residence in Sokoto.
The Senator who represents Sokoto North Senatorial District said Nigeria is bigger than anybody hence the need to unite and work together for rapid development in the country.
Bashar Abubakar MC, SA Media and Publicity to Senator A.M Wamakko stated that while accepting the homage, described the current economic situation being experienced in the country as a thing of the past where everything will be as it was before.
The senator said Nigeria is one indivisible nation looking at the caliber of different tribes and groups Assembled that came to his residence for a sallah homage.
He assured them of the government’s continued support towards bringing more developmental projects to their doorsteps.
He called on them to continue to pray for leaders in the state and the country at large.
Speaking on the visit, the Sarkin Igbo of Sokoto Eze Tobi Gbaghar while congratulating Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko for this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration, announced that his kingdom will award the Senator Wamakko with a traditional title holder soon for his continued support to their affairs.
He assured the Senator of extended support to Governor Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto for emulating his father senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko.
The chief also requested more physical developmental projects in their areas by the present administration for a more prosperous Nigeria.
The chief also prayed for Allah’s continued support and help to Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko.
Speaking, Sarkin Yorubawa of Sokoto, Alhaji Abdulfatai Coka described Senator Wamakko as a father and a role model.
He also applauded the administration of Governor Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto for bringing positive developmental projects, especially to the members of the Yoruba group in the state.
Meanwhile, the leadership from Binji Local Government led by the sole administrator in the area Hon. Umaru Dan Habe Tudun Kose.
The Sole administrator informed the Senator that they came for a usual Sallah homage to Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko.
He also acknowledged the immense contributions being made by the administration of Governor Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto and the fatherly advice of Senator Wamakko especially in their area.
