The Chairman of Tarauni Local Government Area of Kano State, Alhaji Ahmed Ibrahim Muhammad Sekure, and the member representing Tarauni in the Kano State House of Assembly, Alhaji Kabiru Dahiru Sule, have obtained their All Progressives Congress membership cards.
The exercise took place on Tuesday during an official visit by the duo to Tarauni and Babbangiji wards of the local government.
The visit drew a large crowd of party leaders, ward executives and supporters from polling units across the 10 wards in Tarauni LGA.
According to party officials, the registration exercise was conducted peacefully in an atmosphere of unity and enthusiasm, reflecting what they described as the growing acceptance of the APC in the area.
Party members present commended Sekure and Sule for their leadership and commitment to the party, while reaffirming their loyalty and support.
Observers said the visit further boosted grassroots mobilisation and strengthened party cohesion within the local government.
The APC ward executives described the turnout as an indication of increased confidence in the party’s leadership at the local level.
