The Theatre Commander of Joint Task Force North West, Operation Fansan Yamma, Major General Oluyinka Olalekan Soyele, has urged troops to prioritize information security and avoid any communication with the enemy under all circumstances.
In a statement issued in Abuja on Wednesday, Lieutenant Colonel Abubakar Abdullahi, Coordinator of the Joint Media Coordination Centre for Operation Fansan Yamma, highlighted that the call was made during a Christmas lunch organized for the troops in Gusau, Zamfara State.
Maj Gen Soyele commended the troops for their recent achievements and underscored their operational successes in the theatre.
He acknowledged the resilience and dedication demonstrated by the soldiers, particularly in the face of difficult conditions, and recognized their critical role in restoring stability and peace in the region.
Reflecting on the past year’s operations, the Theatre Commander urged the troops to renew their commitment as they prepare for the new year.
